Mathew Paul Jinks: On Sundrun
Mathew Paul Jink’s On Sundrun, uses the quintessentially English game of cricket to explore postcolonialism, ritual and memory. The exhibition will include sculpture, film, location sound recordings of cricket matches, and a performance in the gallery space. Jinks explores cricket as an enactment of the mythology of cultural identity and the effects of transposition and assimilation.
